Even Barry had to admit this was a little cruel. And yet, it was so perfect that he couldn't resist himself.
There had been a big sale at one of the stores in town, and one of the items up for grabs had been a few huge bags filled with old Legos. Initially Barry had been interested simply because they were Legos. He had played with them all the time as a kid. His father would always help him make the craziest looking structures to show off to mom and the rest of Barry's Nerd Squadron. But then the memories had cycled through all the good ones until Barry remembered how painful and jarring it was when he stepped on one. That got him thinking to how funny it would be to do that to everyone else.
And thus his newest diabolical prank had been plotted.
It had been extremely hard to get everything perfect for the prank. He had to pull a lot of strings and constantly reassure that he was just pulling a prank. No funny business. That's why he needed the cameras down for only a few minutes at most. Finally, he had gotten his wish and the plan was a go. He made sure it was at an ungodly hour where he knew he would have plenty of time to line the floors with the little pieces of plastic. He snuck through the halls with a soft step that contrasted with his slightly bigger form. He could be sneaky when he wanted to, and he really needed to be sneaky now. He was carefully tossing down the Lego bits, making sure not to step on any himself as he covered each corner. There was probably going to be some sort of mass uproar once people stared stepping outside their dorms, but Barry didn't care. He was completely covered to hide his identity, and he already knew how to loop the cameras and fuzz em out so he wouldn't get caught. Well, digitally of course.
He was just getting to the very end of his prank and backing out to exit the College dorms when suddenly he heard a door open. Barry froze, looking up from under his large Darth Vader helmet (Hey, it was the only thing he could find at the time). Someone was awake at 4 in the morning?! Only one word went through Barry's mind as he froze a quarter way to the door.
